Web App Inventory Works Like the Mobile App & Security Hardening
- Web inventory: click any item's status badge for the same quick actions as on mobile — assign, assign & use now, check out for repair or loan, use now, check in, final return, unassign, change quantity, mark missing or found
- Assign to a production straight from the inventory page; multi-unit props ask how many units to move
- Item details open in a side panel with previous/next navigation, current location, and the full action row
- Find by photo on the web: use your webcam, upload a file, or drag a photo onto the page; matches offer assign, +1 quantity, back in bin, or "add as new item" with the photo carried into Fast Add
- Production Inventory tab rebuilt: category and status filters, per-lot summaries, bulk check-in and final return, an inventory picker locked to the production, and photo search scoped to it
- Faster web app loads after moving to a new build toolchain
- Security review completed: sign-in rate limiting, bot protection on sign-up, hardened Google sign-in, and tighter database access rules on every theater
Assign Part of a Prop's Quantity
- A production can now hold some of a prop's units while the rest stay available or go to another show
- Units of the same prop can sit in several statuses at once — for example 2 in use, 1 reserved, 3 available — and the inventory list shows the breakdown
- New "Change quantity" action on an assignment; status changes ask how many units to move
- Split props appear under every status filter they hold
- The same assign form is used everywhere: inventory, production tab, and AI suggestions
- Bug fix: status changes that silently did nothing now either apply or explain why
One Place for Production Inventory
- The separate assignment list and check-in/out screens on mobile are folded into the production's Inventory tab: tap an item for actions, swipe to change status
- Returned props can be assigned again without unassigning first
- Status and return location get their own rows on assignment cards
Bulk Bin Moves
- Move everything in a bin to another location in one step, on mobile and on the web, with undo
- Bug fixes: renaming or deleting a bin no longer orphans the props in it; the inventory list refreshes right after a move
Production Status
- Move a production through planning, pre-production, rehearsal, performance, and completed from the dashboard or the web app
- "Return all props, then complete" wraps up a show in one flow; a production can't be completed while props are still out
- Dashboard counts refresh immediately after assignment changes
Photo Duplicate Detection & Private Photos
- Adding an item by photo now checks the inventory for look-alikes using on-server image matching, so duplicates are caught before they are saved
- Prop photos are stored privately and only visible to signed-in members of your theater
- Web app: camera capture when adding items, location filter and sort options in the inventory, faster dashboards
- Automatic daily backups of every theater's photos and data
